This is something I am actually experienced in.  Brain Drain occurs when a locale has a high skilled, educated population, but no jobs or opportunities, or social / cultural foundation to keep those workers from moving away to somewhere that has jobs, or a better lifestyle.  With the US in a deep recession, Vivek explores the scenario where some Americans are heading to India and China because that’s where there is still high-tech employment to be had.
